The BraunAbility Toyota Sienna Hybrid wheelchair van features a durable, power-operated fold-out ramp on the passenger side. This side-entry ramp system deploys and stows automatically using the vehicle’s factory key fob or interior-mounted switches, offering effortless access for wheelchair users.
Built for reliability, the ramp includes a backup power system and manual override to ensure continued use during a power failure. Constructed from lightweight aluminum, the ramp is 29.25 inches wide and supports up to 1,000 lbs—perfect for power wheelchairs, scooters, and other mobility devices.

Integrated Step Flares
Every BraunAbility Toyota Sienna Hybrid side-entry wheelchair van includes an automatic kneeling system designed to lower the vehicle’s suspension on the ramp side. This reduces the ramp angle, making it easier and safer for wheelchair users to enter and exit the vehicle.
The system engages automatically when the ramp is deployed—activating an electronic actuator that gently lowers the van, improving accessibility and comfort.
The BraunAbility Toyota Sienna Hybrid wheelchair van with a power fold-out ramp features removable front seats for greater flexibility. The driver’s seat can be removed to allow a wheelchair user to drive from their chair, while the front passenger seat can also be removed for those who prefer to ride up front.
Each seat easily unlocks from its base and rolls away for convenient storage. Reinstallation is just as simple. New seating options now include factory-installed armrests, with available upgrades such as heated and ventilated seats on select Toyota Sienna models.
