BraunAbility, Handicap In-Floor Toyota Sienna Hybrid Wheelchair Van

Beginning with 2021 model year, Toyota Sienna handicap wheelchair vans are only available as a hybrid.

The BraunAbility Toyota Sienna Hybrid in-floor wheelchair van delivers up to 36 MPG, is much safer, and is quite the head-turner!

Despite the change to hybrid, Braun retained the large cabin interior for easy maneuverability, a comfortable ride, and handling Toyota owners have come to expect.

The in-floor conversion increases ground clearance, creates a wider ramp and door opening.

Automatic Sliding Door & In-Floor Ramp System

The BraunAbility, Power In-Floor, and Toyota Sienna Hybrid wheelchair vans’ sliding side doors and ramp are powered for easy operation. The doors and ramp can be operated using the factory key fob or switches throughout the cabin. There is a backup power source in case of a power failure. The ramp can also be stowed or deployed manually if necessary.

The ramp system on an in-floor wheelchair-accessible vehicle is housed under the vehicle’s floor. This ramp is an excellent choice for those who regularly travel with multiple passenger types, as it allows ambulatory passengers to enter and exit freely without deploying the ramp.

With a load capacity of 1000 lbs., the lightweight aluminum ramp can handle even the largest power chairs on the market. The ramp dimensions are 31 inches wide by 52 inches long. The surface of the ramp is powder-coated with a durable, non-skid finish and is slotted to aid in debris removal.

Removable Front Seating

The two front seats on this Toyota Sienna wheelchair van are removable. This feature allows wheelchair users to drive from their wheelchair or ride as passengers up front. The seats are easily unlocked at the base, rolled away for easy storage, and can be reinstalled anytime.
